Birth Photography is documentary photography at it's truest form. We are a fly on the wall. We hold space for you, capturing all the moments of this time, that without the photos, you may not have remembered.
Witnessing a birth is one of the most powerful experiences for us as photographers and parents—it makes our hearts sing. Whether at home or in the hospital … in the water or with an epidural, we welcome all the different ways to bring a new life into this world and would love to capture your unique birth story.

Will you share my birth images online?
We only share images that you consent to share. Some women choose to show all and some none. We are okay with either.
What if you don't make it before I give birth?
We come very prepared and do whatever we can to not miss a birth. If we do, we can carry over your session fee to other sessions, like a documentary newborn session.
How long is the session?
We arrive in active labour and stay until baby is weighed, fed and tucked in with mom.
How many images can I expect?
We tell the birth story. The longer the birth the more photos there tends to be. Commonly between 200-500 photos.
